A Baby Scrap Book Club

A Baby Scrap Book Club is another way you can vary the traditional book club for a more specific audience. There are many moms (and sometimes dads) out there who are interested in joining a social group that meets regularly who also feel like they can never find the time to sit down and work on baby book pages for their child’s baby scrap book. Why not combine the two and get the best of both worlds?

The goal of this type of club is baby book making. Set a regular meeting date, assign some food dishes, and bring ALL your baby brag book items! Generally a weekend is best because you will end up having so much fun that you can “scrap” for 12 hours and not even realize it. Just make sure you have an understanding sitter at home!

My favorite way to start a baby scrap book club is in conjunction with a baby book club. A baby book club is closer to the more traditional book club because you get together as a group to discuss books. Only difference? All the books are about baby related or parenting related issues. A great way to hear and share advice with other parents who are going through similar situations as you.

You need to be sure to follow the specific guidelines for both of these clubs, even if you choose to use them separate of each other instead of together.

See Baby Book Club for guidelines and Baby Scrap Book Club for scrapping ideas.
